Baltic Food Organisation (BFO) is an inter-trade food organisation, representing different sectors of food industry.
BFO mission: to assist food sector’s active organisations in Lithuania and Baltic countries in increasing their competitiveness and promotion of their business activities.
The general purpose of BFO is to enhance productivity and competitiveness of Lithuanian agricultural sector contributing to the EU agriculture.
Members of BFO – associated bodies, private companies and individuals – are partners based on an establishment agreement. BFO unites entities active in a number of food industries – organic, cereal, bakery, oil, dairy, meat, beverage, fruit and vegetables, baby food industries among them, as well as major national food sector’s associated organisation – for example, Confederation of Lithuanian Food Industry or the main organization in organic industry – Lithuanian Association of Organic Agriculture.
